this is my ablum 2. this here is "Atmosphere" he is a underground hip-hop artist/rapper. his music is real to me and in love it. he is my idol and inspiration. he tells about how todays people find it easier to cheat and steal and do bad things rather then do right. in "atmosphere's" aka Slugs words. " whats up with the way everybody gathers around eachother so they could steal oachothers sound" ican truly say and mean it. Hip-hop saved my life.

Alternate Program

a strength in my design was the wording in thee program. i could have cleaned it up and added a few more thintgs to it. i struggled the most with thee gradient. i believe i did better on thee graduation prgram.

Graduation program

i think something that makes my program stick out is thee designs on the back. ibelieve it would have been better if there was a little more detail to it. thee paint brushes were easier then i thought. graphic dessign is used for many things these days such as movies and such, advertisements, magazines etc.

Blowout

this is a poor example of theee "blowout effect" to create the low out effect you change thee dial to manuel mode then youb cqahnge thee settings to show how much light your gonna let in. then once you get thee setting right then you can see how much light will be let in. my setting wasnt right because ididnt let in enough light.

a few good things about using flash are you capture things that you cant see when thee lioght gets dim. a ouple abad thingfs are you lose all thee natural beauty of what light you do have. some photos come out to bright and you look all greasy and gross, or youn may have to much light and wont be able to see anything at all. flash can make photos better or worse, it just depends on how you use it.

flash is good when its around evening time and there is hardly any light to work with. also when no one else is using it.

flash is not good during a bright sunny day, especially if your in thee shadows with a bright back ground

this photo is good without flash because it gives off its own light and lets you see only as much as it wants you to. if there were flash you wouldnt think the same things your thinking about it right now.

Iso is used to fight darkness, ISO is International Organization for standardization. yes we realize its backwards. ISO refers to film speed and thee capturing of the light at different speeds. ISO works like this, thee bigger the hole thee smaller thee number. or the more light out there is and you dont want it all you use a smaller iso.

Metering

a light meter to me focuses on thee lighting. if your looking at something bright its only focusing on that light, and everything else around thee light will be dark, and vice versa. if your focusing on the thee object then everyting is dark.

surreal practice tutorials

In the desert tutorial we distorted(stretched) the dirt to make it seem more realistic and we added a type of horizon line and made it a little fuzzy jus so thee line wasnt so hard. which now its softer and looks more believable. this will help in my surreal artwork because i can make things look more believable and realistic just like as if you were in my dream. now i have a few tricks to use in my surreal artwork.

Quilt Square "outside"

my ideas came from my feelings and what came to mind when people see me from the outside. i struggled with everything because i didnt really have any strengths at the time like i do now. yes i was suprised about the things some people said bout what they thought of me being native american. thee flowing river represents my people. the Akimel O'Odham people which means thee river people. i was very honest and content about every piece of this square.. ilove the quote i came up with. ilove thee warriors in thee back round. iwould keep everything and add more to it, i loved this project because it brought out alot about myself.
